PAINTING POWER IN MANTUA TOWNSHIP
Painting Contractor for Mantua Township
Mantua Township (pronounced "MAN-choo-uh") takes its name from Mantua Creek, which in turn was named for a Lenape subgroup, the Manta. The creek forms the township's northeastern border. The 2020 census counted about 15,200 residents, the township's highest count ever.
Mantua Township includes Sewell, Barnsboro, part of Richwood, Centre City, Jessups and West Landing. It shares Tall Pines State Preserve with Deptford and has been home to Rowan University's Edelman Fossil Park & Museum since 2025. Painting Power, based in the Sewell area, paints homes and businesses throughout the township.
LOCAL HOMES
Creekside, Suburban and Rural Homes
Mantua Township ranges from established suburban neighborhoods to more rural roads with open land and older homes. Suburban homes usually need interior repaints, cabinet painting and exterior trim upkeep. Rural and creekside properties need exterior prep for sun, wind, moisture and mildew, and decks and fences need regular staining.
Weather and Exterior Paint in Mantua Township
Homes in open, rural parts of the county get strong afternoon sun and wind with little shade. That speeds up fading and chalking, especially on south- and west-facing walls. Before we paint, we clean off chalky residue so the new coat can bond, and we schedule around wind and humidity rather than just the calendar.
