PAINTING POWER IN BARRINGTON
Painting Contractor for Barrington
Barrington got its name in the 1880s from William Simpson, one of the partners who developed the area, after his hometown of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. It became a borough in 1917, and part of it was later separated to form Lawnside. Edmund Scientific was based in Barrington from 1942, and its well-known company store ran from 1952 until 2001.
The borough covers about 1.6 square miles and borders Bellmawr, Haddon Heights, Haddonfield, Lawnside, Magnolia, Runnemede and Tavistock. Painting Power paints homes, rentals and businesses throughout Barrington.
LOCAL HOMES
Established Residential Streets
Barrington is a compact, established borough, mostly single-family streets with a commercial strip and some industry. A lot of the housing is decades old, so we see requests for plaster and drywall repairs, trim and door refreshes, wallpaper removal, and exterior touch-ups where older paint has worn thin on sunny walls. Industrial and commercial owners need durable finishes on high-traffic walls and doors.
Weather and Exterior Paint in Barrington
Open subdivision streets leave south- and west-facing walls in full summer sun, and that fades color and breaks down paint faster than on shaded sides. We plan the day so we paint each side out of direct sun when we can. On vinyl siding we recommend vinyl-safe colors, because a much darker color can absorb enough heat to warp the panels.
