PAINTING POWER IN GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP
Painting Services Across Gloucester Township
Gloucester Township was formed in 1695, making it one of New Jersey's oldest municipalities. With about 66,000 residents, it's one of the most populous townships in the state. Big Timber Creek flows east to west through the township toward the Delaware River, and the pre-Revolutionary Gabreil Daveis Tavern House (1756) still stands in Glendora.
The township is made up of many communities: Blackwood, Glendora, Grenloch, Blenheim, Chews Landing, Davisville, Erial, Glen Oaks, Hilltop, Lakeland, Lambs Terrace and Turkey Foot. Painting Power serves all of them, and Blackwood and Glendora have their own pages on our site.
LOCAL HOMES
One Township, Many Housing Eras
Because Gloucester Township grew community by community, its housing spans a lot of eras. There are historic buildings in Blackwood, small post-war homes near the creeks, and large subdivisions and townhouse communities built in later decades. That variety changes the prep. Older homes may need scraping and lead-safe practices, while newer ones usually need washable interior finishes, trim and door upkeep, and cabinet updates.
Weather and Exterior Paint in Gloucester Township
South Jersey summers are hot and humid, and winters bring freeze-thaw cycles, so exterior paint takes a beating. We apply exterior coatings within the temperature range printed on the product label and give them time to cure before rain or dew. On sunny sides of the house we follow the shade to avoid lap marks and blistering.
